This work presents three approaches to the decomposition of the deadline miss ratio of applications by stochastic task execution times. Each beyond all others fits a different context: an strict one efficiently applicable to monoprocessor systems; each approximate one, which allows for designer-controlled trade-off between analysis accuracy and resolution speed; and one less accurate still sufficiently fast in order to be placed inside optimization loops.
