"We worn out a full week in Dan Gerhartzs studio filming the entire painting process of this elegant work. Painted for gallery sale, the coloring recently sold to a private collector. This is not the typical demonstration painting seen in workshops. It was painted by a period of four days, and Dan spares inexistence in his commentary to explain the reasons he paints in the fashion he does. Dan receives countless invitations to enlighten workshops around the country, but his balcony and show obligations prevent him from scheduling greater degree of than one or two per year. To exist able to reach the painters who distress to study with him, but cant, he filmed these videos in rejoin to that need.
